Senator Antonio Trillanes, voted by 11,189,467 [COMELEC] Filipinos to be our senator but not being allowed by the Makati court to join senate sessions? In my own opinion, it is unfair and unjust simply because millions of Filipinos voted him and COMELEC made it solid and legitimate by declaring him a new senator or the Republic of the Philippines.
Others and Makati court might be saying that he is a convicted rebel, therefore, he should not be allowed to join senate sessions. My question would be, “Why was he allowed to run for senatorial post if they will not allow him to join senate sessions new that he won?” This could only mean two things, that there must be a serious conflict in the law or someone or something must be doing extrajudicial workings.
I might not have a strong knowledge in the law but common sense tells me this isn’t right. I know millions of fellow Filipinos who voted him think and feel the same. We don’t want our vote to go in vain aren’t we? No hard feelings to the Makati court, I’m just supporting my vote.
